Despite general belief shoehorse actually increase movement of attacking generals. This makes the blocks a little more riskier since the chance of getting intercepted increase slightly. Some of this blocks have very long marching times, making the use of shoehorse beneficial. The amount of time saved from the shoehorse more than compensates the delay of sending the generals.

For this guide Confident Lider (on Vargus, Cloacked General and arguably Anslem) and a bronze shoehorse (possible 2) are necesarry for some blocks. if you have a shoehorse active remember to delay a little bit the sending of generals. Always send generals were the drums are finished (dont send them just when they are about to finish, because of the shoehorse).

For this block is recomended the use of a bronze shohorse. The timming is very tight without it

For this block the use of a shoehorse is needed, if the one you used earlier expired or is about to you need to activate another one. The marching time is adjusted for the delay of sending generals. (adding 6 flags for the last 2 waves of generals). You need to send Nusala and Vargus immediatly after sending the general in position gh since there are lack of positions in this map.
